right, ive searched the forum and i cant find/see how its done,
large ships.
im talking ones greater then 30/30/30m and/or 256 prims.
isnt there a mass moover thing that records it possition to the base object and then moves its component parts?
ive seen similar in the builders buddy, but its not quite what im looking for,
could anyone help?

I think you're looking for Multimove (or Multi move). A quick search of either should bring up a whole host of links in this forum.
