Poseballs teleporting you to nowhere

This seems to be a pretty common bug on many poseballs, and I was wondering if there was some common solution that's so obvious it remains unspoken...

I'm trying to position some poseballs around a building project of mine. Every now and then when I sit on them or when I stand up, I get teleported to the middle of nowhere... the sky, or under the ocean, or one sim over, or whatever. I'm stuck there, unable to do anything except maybe turn around, for a couple of seconds before it pops me back to where I started from.

Why does this happen, and how can I prevent it? I'm using Nyterave's poseball script.

If you're ending up at <0, 0, 0> then Welcome to Serious Lag. :p

This, and many other wonderful things, can happen in a grid with 25,000+ people.

My favourite is the "Loading..." script.

Yay! It's just crippling, horrible lag!

...well, that's better than it being something we're doing wrong, personally. :) Thanks.

This may be totally unrelated, but I had a similar experience. In my case, I sat on a child prim, and called llSetPos() to a new Z-value within that child prim, followed by llUnsit(). When I was un-seated, I shot up to 1000m altitude.

 How cool! I should give it a try. :D

llSetPos will only move a max of 10m per call. Why the heck did you want to do that anyway...lol.

It should have been able to make an avatar shooter without llPushObject. :o
