Was wondering if anyone knew of a script that would do the following, or if it's even possible.... I have a store where open boxes and leave the empty boxes laying around everywhere for me to clean up I can't turn auto return on because it will return some stuff that belongs to friends and other people that I resell stuff for. So, I was wondering, id there a way to script something that will only return stuff to people not on a list? Or maybe, probably more dangerouse, anything that isn't locked? Any ideas would be appreciated!

This is one thing SL Groups are tailor-made for.
- Create a group. Do NOT give it open registration. Invite your friends and business associates who need to have objects on your land.
- Set the land to the group. Note this is NOT the same as "deeding" the land, you don't want to do that - just set it to the group.
- Turn off building and "object entry" for the general public, leave it enabled for the group
Now people won't be able to put out junk in the first place, and if your friends need to put something out they just need to wear their group tag while they do it. You still won't have autoreturn enabled, but that can be a good thing since there's no chance of "accidents". Just clean up stray objects one last time and you won't ever see any more.
Hope that's a useful alternative.

Thanks for the idea, but not sure that will solve my problem. It is a store that sells boxed clothes and stuff, so I need ppl to be able to rez the boxes and open them. Was looking for a scripted way of every so many hours go out and return any objects not owned by people on this list, or member of this group. Something like that. Hope that made sense I thought about subdividing the land and have one area of the store specifically for unboxing stuff, and have autoreturn turned on there. The only problem with that is a lot of my customers are kind of new and have a hard enough time gettting a box open without having to go to a specific place in the store to do it. Maybe I'm stuck with manual method.... sigh Thanks again for the reply! CB

CB, Anti's advice will almost do what you want. Leave the 'building' switch on, but turn on AutoReturn and set it for 10 minutes.
Your friends must join your group. They must wear their group tags when placing stuff on your property. That will keep their vendor machines and sale items from being returned.
