i help a friend building a object and he wants to make it modifyable for the next User. But he don`t like to give the Animation with the object (even not NO COPY/NO TRANS) .. is it possible to make a poseball or furniture and not supply the Animation inside the object ? i mean instead of llStartAnimation("exampleanim" ; we would like to just reference to that animation llStartAnimation("12312-12-123-12-312-1" ; and make the script NO MOD ty in advance

According to the Wiki an animation can not be loaded from a key. See http://www.lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=llStartAnimationDid you try it? What was the outcome?

*gloats* You can blame me. Back in 1.4 preview when they introduced (user uploaded) animations they also introduced llGetAnimationList. While it was in preview I ran a script that used a repeating sensor to scan for people and then used llGetAnimationList to get the animation UUID's. My scanner would then cache the animations found until I came along and had it dump the animations. At that time llStartAnimation did take UUIDs. You know sex animations look really funny out of context. Anyway after a few days of laughing at the hilarious animations I reported the bug and they closed the loophole. Wow was that a long time ago... but I can still remember the builds from that preview grid instance. *sigh* The good old days.
