Sit pose by reference?

I think the answer is probably "no", but is it possible to reference a pose animation by UUID instead of dropping the animation into the prim? I'm not able to get it to work, but I wish I could.

There is a free pose that I want to use in a product for sale, but it is no-transfer. I can't find the creator, he doesn't come up in any searches, so I expect he may be long gone. I can't even remember where I was when I picked up the free box of poses, it was so long ago.

According to this, http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlStartAnimation, the animation must be in the prim's inventory.

...with the exception of system animations.

Oh well. Thanks. I'd seen the wiki page, but given the undocumented tricks some of you know about, I was hoping.

Otherwise, animations would be too easy to steal.

Note that you can list all the animations running on an av. For this reason, it would be bad for us animators if they could be started by UUID.

You can stop an animation by UUID, but not start one unless it's a built-in.
