Is is possible to add a complete song to an object without having to string 9 or 10 second clips together? Producing a "bumpy" sound? Is this the only way to add a song to an object?
Would anyone know about a script that adds songs in completion?

There is no other way, and this way is laggy and (as you noted) ugly.

As you can read here : http://secondlife.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=408
The only "clean" way to play music is to use the parcel's media settings... I hope that helped. First post on the forums, yay ! |

Juke box scripts

Yes, there is a way, but it depends on the lag - yes you do have to break up you song into fragments that are 10 secs or shorter and then you have to write a script that plays them sequentially. I have created such a script, but if SL is at all laggy it is unpredictable. Its not too bad if you break the music in the right places. It just takes a lot of work.
