I just want to post this so others can be on the lookout for this behavior. Due to forum rules I have redacted their identity. From: someone *name omitted*: I need to hire a scripter

This is why i strongly and repeatedly advise my friends not to gamble, and why i refuse to make cassino equipment. They are much better off playing tringo anyway.

actually, I think this is a good example of why we need improved gambling facilities in SL.
I've been toying with this an idea, If tables reported specific information; such as the result of each hand. It would then be posable for another script to surprise the results. Sense gambling is based on statistics, some basic statical analysis could be used to detect cheating.
But to do this, I would need the cooperation of a a casino game scripter.

I've made a couple casino games, and it's important to my sense of integrity to make them "honest". The house obviously as the edge in the games... there's NO NEED to make them cheat.
I talked to a casino owner once about selling a game to him. He asked if it had "profit protection" built in. I said that it did not, and he said "oh, it's easy! You just..." I got out of there and haven't been back since.
What there really needs is a group to certify gambling games. As someone who makes honest casino games, it's in my best interest.
Does anyone know if such a group exists? Should I try to start one up?
