Yes, at first we were in denial hoping there was a backup somewhere or maybe retrieve it from the google cache. Then we moved to depression knowing how many messages were lost. Then we became angry! Now is time to accept the forum is gone and get on with rebuilding.
Probably its a good idea to crosspost good scripts between this forum and the LSL wiki, just so we wont lose everything again.

Please feel free to add and expand to the Wiki Library . It needs some more attention.

Many of the scripts that I found interesting, complete, or useful I placed in the University's Library in Phobos. Check to see for some of them there.

They must have a back up, or I'm going to cry and then kick my wall... oh well.

Just remember to blame LL for this. If they hadn't changed things, this wouldn't have happened.
This isn't the first forum to be outright deleted by LL. It's just the first people complained widely about.

What a wonderful resource! Thank you so much for providing so many great scripts in one place - all nicely organinzed, too!

From: someone Originally posted by Aaron Levy Am I missing something when I go to that page? Because all I see 5 scripts. That page is part of the lsl wiki ( www.badgeometry.com/wiki), and it is a very new page which I started and have yet to convince anyone to add anything to. My post here was more to get people to add to it than to say it was a good resource for scripts (yet).

LOL Its all right, post them anyways! My scripts are by no means works of art - at least one already had an error in it someone pointed out.
I also am finding a lack of full scripts, and so will probably start putting general script functions (the crypto one is essentially just 2 functions anyways).

I'll have a look see.. the problem for me is that a lot of things I end up doing are pretty specific.. others may not find them very usefull. Another problem usually is that 10 minutes after I 'finish' something I usually think of a much much better way to do it - that results in me seeing the previous way as 'rather boneheaded'. I'll will, however, keep this in mind for future reference. If I actually come with something others may find usefull (that someone else didn't pay me to write) I'll certainly post it (and you can all point fingers and giggle ) Siggy.

Sig, one AV's self-proclaimed crap is some newer AV's learning material. The scripts I learned from were not amazing nor particularly general. But that they did something of use was better than the LL LSL manual. Which of course means that I should post my scripts, but they really suck
