Hopefully someone has an answer, I couldn't figure this out.

Any way to make an avatar automatically sit on a prim? Any kind of strange workaround might work, as long as it triggers the llAvatarOnSitTarget event?

I've got a HUD attachment that rezzes a prim which the avatar needs to sit on in order for the script in the rezzed prim to go off. Ideally, when I click on the HUD to trigger this process, it will make the avatar sit on the prim automatically.

Any ideas?

Closest thing you can do is make the prim be set to Sit on Touch, but other than that there is no way to force an avatar to sit on anything.

On the bottom of the build menu, on the general tab, you can select what action you want to be taken when an object is left-clicked, just select "sit on touch" and you're good to go.
