Hey hey I need a bit of help maybe some tips. I'm trying to make a a script that will scale lined prims bigger to smaller / smaller to bigger. Things I run into is when I scale they never move to the right spot. I would show you what I have done but I only delete the scripts when the fail to work right lol. So any help or tips would be nice.
Things I have looked into. The one in lslwiki dose not work. Ones on xstreet there no mod and have way to many rules on how you can use them.

The function that will do all the heavy work for you is llSetLinkPrimitiveParams. Take a look at . Pay attention to the PRIM_SIZE and PRIM_POSITION parameters.

yes but you have to offset the pos by 2 of how much you scale them. I had one script working fine till you reset the script and on the 1st reste it off sets it by 4.

trying to guess where you went wrong in a non-existant script, with a very unhelpful description probably won't get you the help you want...
but I'll tell you a trick for only scaling a prim in a single direction... half cut it.
heck a cube prim can be cut so that it only changes scale in the positive direction on each axis (although it'll be limited to half it's normal size, and you have to double all the expected result sizes)
the setting are sphere, dimple start 0.5 convert to box cut start 0.375, end 0.625
run scale commands on it and you'll see it only expands in the positive axis directions... (when in edit, make sure you handle it with "stretch both sides" checked so it stays centered on it's non-growing corner)

Or, if you are trying to resize a linkset, and need to maintain the prims' positions relative to each other, try the pair of scripts at http://lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=llSetScale. I use them all the time.
