MLPV2 is the second generation of a set of scripts to add pose menus to furniture or HUDs. The original MLP was written by Miffy Fluffy; thanks to Miffy for that! I modified it to make V2, which supports up to 4 avatars, among a number of other improvements.
MPLV2.1 should be released soon; planned improvements are:
* 15 different ball colors, thanks to Lizz Silverstar * removed "page up/down" to turn expressions on & off -- didn't quite work out for a number of reasons * ability to use balls without any floating text
plus a few bug fixes. I am also looking into a way to add props. Earlier I said I wouldn't do this because I didn't want to impinge on the limited memory for poses, but I may have a solution for that problem.
Please use this thread for questions about MLPV2 and suggestions for features. In general, I don't do custom scripting work, but you're free to ask for it here and anyone is free to offer their services via PM or inworld.

Mono is coming out soon. More memory plus it uses lists much more efficiently. With my pose tool I was only able to store about 10-16 frames now it is over 1000. which is more than I had hoped.

Hi Lear,
Can I use MLPv2 with a HUD? E.g., click on the HUD to rez the MLPv2 poseballs? If so, how do I go about doing that?

Yes -- pretty much, just put it in an object and attach to HUD.
Something to keep in mind: it resets location whenever you hit STOP. (It does when you rez it too, of course.) When you rez it, it sets the location. Poses all get made relative to that location. That location "keeps" unless you hit STOP or do a restart or position reset.
It's something to keep in mind whether you're using it as a HUD or not: if you move your bed, pull up a menu and hit STOP.
I was thinking about putting in a handler to set location whenever it's moved, but two problems: that handler doesn't trigger if you just rotate, and it would goof up HUDs, I think.
Get MLPV2.1a or later (ideally latest, MLPV2.1c at this time). MLPV2.0 had a bug about resetting, and 2.1a does a lot better job. (Fewer position resets, better behavior overall.)

=x Posted here rather than make another thread I seem to be surrounded with issues and questions lately! Lol. Ok, so I'm using the 2.1c now.. But Restart jams up. Only thing I've changed is to add in poses, using the same MENU format as 2.0. Did the format change? I notice a bunch more stuff in there but I haven't messed with any of it yet. Just took out the "example" notecards and went to "Restart". I can get it to restart if I "Reset" the menu script. It also appears to jam up when starting from shutdown, I have to reset Menu to get it to work. It sticks on "2 positions stored" Could this be due to: TOMENU - // 10 (total) blank spaces for modular configs. Unused entries are automatically deleted. TOMENU - I left this empty because I gave me two menu options for the same one "Cuddle" & "- Cuddle". It's likely just me, lol.

Please explain what you mean by "jams up". Tell us exactly what you see in chat when it restarts.
Something that's always worth trying is to selec the MLP prim and use "Tools -> Reset scripts in selection". Then click to start fresh. That helps if when dragging the scripts in, some of them didn't end up in "running" state, which sometimes seems to happen.

I recommend you leave the "TOMENU -" lines there. They do no harm, and can do good. You're free to add your own menu items there explicitly (as you would have had to do for old MLP).
If you delete them, the only repercussion is that if you add a menu and don't plant it in a TOMENU somewhere, it won't show up on the main menu by default. And your customers won't be able to easily add new modules of poses, if you sell them. So, either way, this isn't the source of your problem.

Well.. It did get further using the Reset All Scripts:
[16:52] MLP Cuddle: OFF (touch to switch on) [16:52] MLP Cuddle: MLPV2: MULTI-LOVE-POSE (version 2.1c) [16:52] MLP Cuddle: Reading .POSITIONS [16:52] MLP Cuddle: Reading .POSITIONS [16:52] MLP Cuddle: 2 positions stored (~memory: 11133 bytes free) [16:52] MLP Cuddle: Reading .MENUITEMS
Basically what I mean by 'jams up'. It just sits there, it's 16:57 now and still nothing else =x No idea why it reads .POSITIONS twice either.. There's only one in there. And I left the TOMENU alone, it's why the lines are blank..
I'm so not good at scripts, lol.

It does that, starts to read .POSITIONS once before ~run resets it (or something -- I'll look into that some time when I'm bored.)
But it shouldn't hang after starting to read MENUITEMS.
I think I'll have to take a look. Let's look for each other ingame.

Yeah.. I don't get it either =x Feel free to add me if you'd like until we're able to meet up. Got a bit of time tonight so gonna try fussing with it a bit. Went through and assured myself that all scripts are "Running". Maybe it's just that object.. Going to try in a blank sheet, unlinked to anything. Bound to be something terribly simple -- Works alright as unlinked, except I have to re-do about half of the poses.. I seen it, though, avatar bouncing back and forth a bit. Definately not a MLP issue though Will try tomorrow or something, when hopefully SL will have fixed itself, lol.
