I wanted to build a hovering bicycle, like in the movie E.T., so I started working off of the basic motorcycle script that was floating around here. I wanted to make a lot of changes to it, so I just put the script in a big block and worked on it. Finally I got it working exactly how I wanted, so I built the actual bicycle. Now with the script inside, the bicycle doesn't do anything. According to all my llOwnerSay checks, the script is still working. It just doesn't move when I press the keys. I put the script back in the block and everything worked fine. So obviously the problem has to do with my multi-prim build. I have a feeling there is just some stupid little thing that I'm missing -- perhaps because I am blinded with frustration. Can someone help me out with this?
I'm sorry if my description of the problem isn't clear enough. Just let me know and I'll elaborate. But any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The most obvious thing Ican think of is...Have you exceeded the 31 prim limit for vehicles?

There should be a little error window popping up if nothing else. It's just a little icon that appears. I'm guessing that the previous post is correct and that you might have exceeded the 31 prim limit.
You also have to keep in mind that each AV sitting on the object counts as a prim, so you could really only go to 30 for a single person vehicle.

Hey everyone. Thanks so much for responding right away. But apparently it just stared working again -- just as mysteriously as it stopped. I put the bike in my inventory and rezzed it again and it worked. So, problem solved...somehow.
But again, thanks for your help.

But again, thanks for your help. I've noticed this problem with some attachments. If I edit the attachment's script, it will no longer work even though it seems to show it's working. But if I detach and re-attach, it works again. Makes little sense to me either.
