I am having trouble figuring out how to get a holding animation to continue playing without weird stuttering in between animation states. I've found that I have to start and the stop the animation (a looping pose essentially) with a slight pause in between whenever animation states have been changed.

I know there has to be some trick to doing this since I have seen some weapons that have an arm pose that plays smoothly and continuously regardless of the priority of animations in an AO or the current animation state.

I've tried various ease in and ease out settings for one. The ease out setting seems to help a little with the stuttering, but ease in isn't helping at all. I've also tried keeping two animations going in a cycle depending on which was played or stopped last, as well as adding some animation triggering from the control event.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?
