I know, I know. You're probably thinking, "Oh my god, learn to !@#*ing Script for yourself, Jessica!" Well. . . Honestly, this is how I learn. And what I need to learn today is how to make a proper Tesla Coil script. I want to make a script that shoots out a 12,000 Gigawatt(I'm thinking 100 Damage and 2,000-5,000 Force/Push) bolt of electricity at people if they get too close to the Tesla Coil. Keep in mind, the version I want to make is a "Shoot These People; Ignore Everyone Else" script, not an "Ignore These People; Shoot Everyone Else" script. This would be used as base defense in Combat Zones as well as general decorations in normal zones.(Or perhaps as zone defense against dipsticks who decide to make arses of themselves on your land.) Additionally, I'd like to be able to turn the Tesla Coil on and off via /channel command. The channel doesn't matter, as it can be changed. Obviously, I want it only to respond to owners, otherwise it's sort of useless. The firing rate should be around. . .I's say one volt blast per second or two. The volts would have a little splash damage, but the splash radius would be fairly low. The radius on which would trigger the script would be something like fourty-two to fifty-two meters.(The script would be sitting on the Tesla Coil's highest part, about 12m above the ground.)
The prize this time around is. . . A negotiable amount of any profits I make off the Tesla Coil! Modelling the thing wasn't that hard. Scripting the thing, however, is going to be a pain in the butt, I would wager. The best I can come up with right off-hand is a script that reads names from a Note and hits them with a super-fast, invisible projectile which shoots out a particle stream in the shame of an electrical field which, in theory, sounds simple enough to code, now that I think about it. And that's why it's negociable. Also, your name will be put into the item description.
So. . . Who's up for the challenge?
