Is it possible via taking camera controls, to make someone zoom in, in mouselook?

It's not possible at all unfortunately, but you can move the avatar still.
Scripted camera controls with llSetCameraParams are not active when in alt-zoom, customize avatar mode, or mouselook. http://www.lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=Camera |

Not possible directly but if you simulate mouselook with the camera params, everything is possible... And even more than with mouselook.
Just set the camera in front of the avatar face and you have a very good first-person view where you can zoom in and out with 2 buttons on a HUD. _____________________
It's hard to tell gender from names around here but if you care, Kaluura = he. And I exist elsewhere than in SL but who cares?
