Ripple Lists Script?

Hopefully I can describe this so it makes some sense.

What I want to do is have a list of say 20 items max, that I can drop the oldest entry, ripple the rest of the entries up and add a new entry at the end.

That way the list will always contain the last 20 entries.

Doe anyone know of some code that will do that or a script hiding around somewhere?

some_list = llList2List( some_list + new_item, -20, -1 );
