Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this..
But I bought a house recently. I rezzed it and when I click on a wall inside or ourside of the house. it seems that the house thinks its a door. My door DOES work.. When I click on it.. it opens. But my house also opens when you click on it.
I checked with the person who designed the house and she said to re-rezz it and start all over again. When I try to do that I don't have the box the house came in.
So I'm looking for a way to fix what the problem is.
Can anyone help with this?

Yipes.
I have a door that you can resize and attach to a house, and it will work whether rezzed or not. Search for "Prospero's" in "Places," and you'll find my gadget store (called either "Prospero's Gadgets and Miscellany" or "Prospero's Gadgets and Miscellania" -- I tend to be flaky that way).
The door is a freebie, and there's also a freebie box of scripts with the script that the door uses. You can rtexture and resize the door to taste.
As for getting your current door working... I'd have to talk to you in world and look at what its deal is.

Thanks so much, I'm going to take a look at your doors!
Question though.. I have a back door that is just a blind that goes up and down. Do you think I can replace it with a freebie door so that I dont have people just walking in all the time.
My front door works and locks.. but the lock doesnt help if they can fly to my back porch and come through my blinds lol

If they move fast enough they can fly through your walls or they can select a sit target and move into your house by sitting on your sofa. The wonders of camera control. I would not have it any other way though.

If so, I guess the door must be the root of your house. Use edit linked part carefully and unlink the door. Then select the door first and the house next, and link them again. You need to make the door be a child. You can replace the door if your house and the door have mod permission.
