Particle script Not Working

Grrr... always something. Have a partile/bling script that 's always worked fine. But not now. Is there a problem with emitting particles from a very thin prim? That seems to be the only diifference in prns that I can see.

Yes, if the prim is not drawn due to its smallish size, then the particles are also not emitted.

You didn't really provide enough detail to determine what the problem is ... Are you getting no particles, or fewer particles?


There are two known issues with particles at the moment:
1) angle patterns don't appear like they did, if the first angle parameter is larger than the second. (ie: innerangle > outerange, or angle_begin > angle_end). This also affects speed_min > speed_max.

2) Particles don't turn off on child prims properly.

Tiny particles on tiny prims Might be culled out due to 'level of detail'...

Make sure your particles are at least 0.04 wide and tall for at least a few moments of their life or they may not apppear at all.
