Root prim turning red?

Is anyone else having the problem with the root prim having a strange red transparency about it?

I've seen it other peeps work so there must be a way to stop it... any ideas folks?

Sounds like you have view-beacons-beacons always on checked, and that your root prim is being highlighted as a scripted object.
