Recently I noticed that if I am sitting on an object (not a poseball, just an object like a cube or a wall with no sit script) that my HUD dialogs no longer work. I get the initial dialog but any buttons pressed don't actually do anything. If while still sitting I remove the HUD and re-attach it, the dialog starts to work. Sitting on an object with a sit script doesn't have this same effect. Has it always been this way and I just never noticed ? If it _has_ always been this way, why? I am using the current 1.20.15 viewer and don't currently have any older versions to check if it is just this viewer.
:edited to add: With a little more testing it seems this only happens if the object I am sitting on is part of a much larger linkset with the root prim being farther away than the 20m chat distance.

That is interesting, no idea if that ever was the case before, you should bug report it on the Jira as well. Seems like the dialog is send from the wrong linked object. Normally what you select in a dialog is being said from the position of the object that starts the dialog. I think even from the root, which is not optimal. It seems in this case with a object that is linked to a avatar who is linked to a object, that the wrong root position is chosen.

OK, so you have a weird manifestation of the problem in http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2133Will the pending fix also take care of avatars' attachments? Hope so!
