Hi All Is there any way a Skin and a Shape can be put into a prim (Hopefully this can also be menu driven with choices) When an AV clicks the prim it will give the skin and shape but once the AV has clicked the prim they will then automatically be wearing the Skin and Shape. If this is possible I would like to develop this a little further with a scripter. Thanks Samantha

avatar layers aren't scriptable. with a different viewer, like restrained life viewer, it's sorta possible, but not from a prim i don't think. never used it myself.

You can GIVE them the items with llGiveInventory() or llGiveInventoryList(), but there's no way to have them automatically wear them. Unless you use a custom viewer, anyway. I believe the "Restrained Life" viewer does that sort of thing, but I'm not sure if it has security features that keep you from being forced to wear just any old items something has just given to you. I sort of hope it does.

You just drag them into the prim's inventory. (right click the prim, choose edit from the pie menu, open the content's window with the content tab, drag the shape and skin from your inventory into the prim's content window) From: Samantha Sachertorte When an AV clicks the prim it will give the skin and shape but once the AV has clicked the prim they will then automatically be wearing the Skin and Shape. A prim can give the prim containing the skin and shape when touched. When they open that, they can choose to 'Copy and Wear'. That will put on the skin and shape right away. (to copy and wear: right click prim, choose open from the pie menu, then press the button: 'Copy and Wear')
