I am starting to learn script and have taken animation override script from SL book which replaces standard walk with alternative. I placed script in a prim under contents. I uploaded a female walking animation into my inventory. Script compiled ok but said could not find the animation. Later I was given another AO script which worked and i saw that the animations were stored in the prim contents along with the script. I went back to my attempt and tried to copy animation from inventory into prim contents by dragging but got the circle with bar implying this was not allowed. HOW do i get the animation into the prim contents? Or is there something else I am missing?

I'm assuming the prim belongs to you and you have full mod rights? In that case, 2 possible reasons why you weren't able to drag the animation into the prim's contents I can think of are a) lag, or b) you don't have full permissions on the animation and were trying to drag it over while you were *wearing* the prim. If you don't have full perms on the animation, you have to drop the prim (or rez it on the floor) in order to put the animation in.
