Gestures

Would someone point me to a wiki on gestures? Do they add much to the lag problems? Can one loop a gesture? Can one script chat into an animation?

Gestures were basically created as an easy-to-use replacement over scripts that can do the same thing (save for keybinding, of course).

Scripts cannot trigger gestures, but you can create a script that acts *just* like a gesture would. Gestures contribute to lag in three (optional) ways: they play sounds, they play animations and they chat text. All of these require the attention of the server, so they're bound to contribute to lag at the very least minimally.
