Is there a way to pop up a profile? I'm not looking for the picture, I want to open the profile panel.
As far as I know the best I can do is print the profile link to text chat and tell the user to click it. What I'd like is a way to get it directly.

I think there might be a way using llLoadURL(), but I'm not sure what the URL pattern is. It will bring up a blue confirmation dialog though; that function doesn't pop anything up immediately.

Nope, using the chat text URL with llLoadURL does nothing. It's broken on the web results page, so maybe it's supposed to do something but doesn't. That is, when you click on the full profile button on the web search results page, the little secondlife app window shows for a second but nothing happens. So, maybe it's supposed to work but is just broken. _____________________

Oh right. Because llLoadURL() ALWAYS uses the external browser, which I guess precludes special handling such as is done with SLURLs and stuff. Huh.

The external browser should have SL as the handler for secondlife: URLs, though.
But taking the extra step through the external browser for these seems, well, silly. _____________________
