I hope this is not a repeat question... (we really need an improved search tool)

Is there a thread about applying poses to objects? If so, please guide me there. If not, I'd love help with a tutorial on how to write (...plagiarize...) a script that will allow me to put a pose in 'Contents' and place it on a piece of furniture.

I'd be eternally (in SL time) grateful...

I'm sorry, 'poses'?

Easiest way to get the pose in the right place on the object is to put the script and anim in a sphere, sit on the sphere, and then position the sphere in relation to the object, until you're in the right place. I have a sleep script, somewhere, but I'm not near it at the moment...

I hope that's at least sort of useful...

I meant a pose or inimation that an avie was making... like a reclined position in a particular place on a bed or couch.... Does that make it a little clearer? I'm new enough to not know all the jargon, yet.

Objects in SL don't have the skeleton system required for animation. Animating objects in SL isn't something that can be done easily.
