Hello knowledgeable people,
I've just made a script which regularly changes the colours on the faces of a few boxes. Works fine - but around my boxes a big circle of streaming particles shows up; entirely uninvited! Anyone know what this is, and how to remove it?
Thanks, Xylo

Why is it I feel compelled to do things I'm asked not to do?

May as well change the thread title to "Don't read this! Super duper secret contained within!"

Please don't read this post - it's very embarrassing, I accidentally put it in forum

Haha, I see....yet that's why I put the REASON into the title. Now if I'd just put 'Don't read this', I'd be with you guys. But when it actually SAYS it's just a double post? Not too intriguing, surely? Silly persons.

Well seeing how there there is no topic, how can it be off topic? It's rather in a state of perpetual limbo.

Closing it? I'm quite certain it will make it to sticky-status.

Clearly this is evidence of the need for a new function, llThreadDie(). I suggest someone hustle and add it as a feature request, and we all get over there and vote. Although that wouldn't help if this thread gets moved to a subforum where scripts are disabled. Hmm. Maybe we need a new attribute for threads, Temp On Reply, where they disappear before this replying business gets out of hand. But then there's the whole issue of whether the thread counts toward the starter's Thread Limit, and if the reply counts against the poster's Reply Limit. Hmmm again. Not to mention the potential for abuse by people using Thread Rezzers to artificially inflate their post count :/ </desperate attempt to make it appear that this has anything to do with scripting>

Thanks, Osgeld. I am not understood, by most people. They don't see the sheer brilliance and endless usefulness of this thread. After all I've done for this community.

Don't forget Anti that we'll need some sort of memory-management feature to prevent the thread from failing due to Stack-Heap Collision.
