Is anyone using XML communications to SL on a regular schedule? I have an hourly update that comes in. And 99% of the time it runs fine. But like starting this morning I have lost communications with SL. This happens about once a month since I started six months ago. I realize it is a sketchy service to begin with. I was just wondering if anybody else has been having problems today.

I'd tell you, but I can't seem to send email from Uba right now, so I don't have an easy way to get my server to talk to my XML-RPC setup. This happens every now and then.

I have also noticed that XML-RPC channels tend to die after a day or two if nothing is sent across them. Be sure to send a little bit of data through them to keep them nailed up.

My logs show there was a problem for a short while yesterday.

Hmmm... I have XML-RPC channels that have been up for more than a month, often without anything going through them for days at a time. I'll check today to see if they are still up, but historically I haven't had any trouble.

A little spotty recently, depending on what timeout you've got while waiting for the reply. Otherwise fine.
