Any way to use the LSL controls and also use a command to have a 3rd person camera?
I'm afraid I haven't played with camera LSL stuff much.
Thanks!

Thanks! I thought the camera in SL was already third person.

You can position the camera when an AV "Sits" on an object. See my telescopes at Ace's Sky & Telescope (shameless plug) in Rose for an example of tricks you can do with the camera.
But...
1 - You have to define the camera offset and direction BEFORE the AV sits 2 - You CAN'T change the camera position once they are seated
If the object they are sitting on moves around, then the camera will move around with it (you'll see this when moving on most vehicles), but the AV moves right along with it. There is no way to decouple the camera from the object the AV is sitting on, and move the user's view around independently.

- Ace So, for instance, I could have someone sit on say, a poseball-type dealio, have the camera be locked 3rd person, and still use the control LSL functions as if it were mouselook? (up, down, left, right, mouseclick detection?)
