I'm working on a bank vault type door to put on the top of a high-tech vampire coffin.
Currently, Im just using a simple llSetRotation call to flip it open and closed on a touch event. But this is too quick, and doesnt give the impression of "weight". So, I wonder how I might slow the rotation process?
Perhaps with some kind of while loop that rotates it a bit at a time until the lid is completely open?
Any advice is welcome!

using multipull llSetRotation in small steps like 20 or 40 each one has a 0.2sec delay -LW

Unfortunately the delay can give a rather jerky motion, but it does work.

Crreeekk...tuhmp! *grins* And bursts of particle steam from the seam as it opens (would need an invisible phantom prim in the middle to do that, I think, though).
