Need Jewelry scrips

Hey all how is it going?
I was just wondering how people make jewelry like necklaces, chains and braclets and if you knew any scripts to help me with making my own for a change.
Let me know please if you have the info and some scripts along with some pointers.

Are you looking for scripts to make them shine?

Very good question, I should have been more detailed about it.
You are right about making them shine cause I have no idea how to do that with the bling on and bling off otion as well.
Long time ago I heard about some jewelry generator but i was never able to find any kind of script like that.
Also I heard that there are scripts that could make your jewelry turn into silver or gold with /1 gold or silver but I was never able to find anything like that and since I'm relatively new to SL I figured I'd ask you kind people to help me with that.

The scripts aren't the problem with jewelry.

The difficulty is in building the prims that are, for example, 3mm x 2mm x 1mm for a necklace chain link, where the smallest prim you can rez in 10mm x 10mm x 10mm

There are other threads around that give very good tutorials on that though.

There are freebie shine scripts commonly available - if you contact me inworld I'll pass you a bling script.

For changing gold to silver, you simply need to change the texture of the prims, which is a listener script in one, and a texture changer in every single child prim, but you also need a good set of textures, and to get jewelry looking right, you often need to adjust the scaling, offset, angle etc of the various textures you use. Sadly, this means that ready-made drop-in scripts for jewelry are pretty much useless for any of the more complex fuctions you might want them to do.
