Can some body suggest the process to play or incorporate youtube videos in the Second Life.

Try http://xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=1115716 . I haven't used it myself, but I am told that it's a good viewer. Free, too, so you can't lose by trying it. And you ought to get a clue about how it works and figure out one of your own.

I have an open souce YouTube player

A few weeks after I got my land, I got a hold of an item with a full permed script that can run YouTube videos in SL.

After some much needed tweaks I got rid of the mile long hover text to just saying the confermation link.

It very easy to set up and use, I put most of the instructions in the script as comments and it can be put in any prim you choose. There is even ways to set it to respond to certain objects or people.

When I get the cahnce I can pass a copy of the script and show how to work it.

If you can figure out any improvments to feel free to do so, like I stated in this post title, the item is open source!!

I don't mean to offend the original builder, I just like to see how things are made and to get ideas for my own builds.

If the videos are yours, host them at Blip.tv - you can get the URL for the original file (if it is a MOV file) and use it in SL without scripts, etc. Very cool

Hi there, I am currently a Research assistant for the opensource project SLOODLE (which connects learning management systems to secondlife for distance educators)
