Hi, I just started messing around with Scripting and I was trying to see if there is a way or if there already is a Script to change your Avatar. Example, Changing from a Human to a Animal just by clicking or typing in a command. I know how to just put everything in a folder and just click on replace outfit. But I want a script to do that easy. I'm sure one is out there, I just haven't found it yet. Please reply back. Anyhelp would be great.

If the animal avatar was entirely made up of prims, and fits onto your regular human shape, then it's possible (although awkward). If it has any regular clothing components, or a particular shape you have to wear, then it's impossible in a script. Sorry.

I'm 99.9% sure there's no way of getting 'stuff' from your inventory to rez via script.
You could make an attachment containing all the necessary parts (paws, head, AO, HUD etc.) and script it to attach them to your avatar, but I don't think you can change your skin this way. A full prim avatar would be needed.
It does sound like a very good idea though, if I were you I'd hunt around for a freebie 'tiny' avatar (There are a few free in Caletta..or Calleta) and try getting those to attach via a scripted attachment as a proof of concept (far fewer parts on a tiny, and they're full prim - no 'skin' showing).
Edit: Slow typing, and I forgot the shape >_< Perhaps a sort of 'jack of all trades shape' would work, but would be ideal for neither avatar state.

as long as your 'animal' form uses the same bodyparts, you can script something to hold your animal attachments and have them rez and attach to you. You can then script them to detach. However, you will create a LOT of copies of each attachment doing it this way.

Why not have some form of command to llDie() the attachments when you want them removed. Would solve the copies in inventory problem

*note* attachments have to detach before they can llDie() and by detaching they move to your inventory.
