I make glass objects that are 30% transparent and I would like to have a flame (like on a large candle) come out the top. If I put a flame script (and I haven't found a small flame one yet) inside the orb..nothing happens..so my questions is, where can I get this kind of script, and how do I make it come out the top of the orb or whatever I am making?

I am fairly new to the whole scripting thing and how to use them (I don't want to write them), so any help is appreciated..thanks.

May I suggest you do this in 2 steps (for learning purposes)? ;)
1. Find an existing candle with flame. Lets say its a candle freebie. Edit the candle stick to be a tiny ball, and make it invisible. Lower it into your glass globe.
2. Now go back to the freebie candle. Look inside its contents while in the editor...How did they do it? Probably two things: a script and a texture...Open the texture and look at it. And read the script to see what it does. Depending upon how the candle was created, it may be obvious how to build your globes.

Thanks for your suggestions, they worked well and I was able to lift the texture and script from the candle and create my own flame...may the SL Gods shine upon you!
