Hi, I'm wondering, is there any way for a script to detect if Autoreturn is turned on for a parcel?

And if it is on, is there a way to detect the number of minutes it's set for?

Thanks. :)

Funny enough, I was going to ask that question myself - I'm thinking of building a script which activates on TP and gets the number of minutes until autoreturn so that I can let my Tardis fade away within that time rather than just vanishing.

Any advice would be appreciated...

Object A could rez object B after 10 seconds of being rezzed itself. Every second, object A tells object B that it's still there. When object A is autoreturned, object B will have another 10 seconds to live and will notice object A no longer talking. Object B can then tell a server (like another object in another area that has no autoreturn for your objects) how long object A has been alive.

Isn't there a more simple way such as detecting parcel flags? Like I can tell if a region has an access list, allows objects to rez etc just by pressing a button on my scanner hud which is activated when I TP into a parcel - just lists on my screen "Region Name allows rezzing, Region Name has a landing point" etc.

Is the ability to check how long the autoreturn this way too difficult or is it something LL doesn't want people to have access to?
