Does scripting a plane/torus sculpt stay that way?

I set a prim up be plane or torus to check maps with a line like below from other examples.
e.g.

CODE
llSetPrimitiveParams([PRIM_TYPE, PRIM_TYPE_SCULPT, llGetObjectDesc(), PRIM_SCULPT_TYPE_PLANE]);

Once this is done can the script be removed without fear of it going back to sphere?
Should that line be in a reset script if another different script needs a reset?
Or something like that?

Thanks...:)

You are setting prim properties.

Prim properties are persistent and independent of the script.

Thus, the script can be safely removed afterwards.
