Is there a way to hide your name bubble?

One might assume he meant a way to do it in script.

And the answer is no, if you are wanting to do it with a script. It is all done on the client side under preferences.

you can hide it from yourself.. but not from everyone else.

There is a way to do it. Just I don't know it how.
I've seen once a vechicle which was the size of a ball.
When you did board it the AV became invisible - inclussive the TAG!

I wish I knew how to do that.

maybe the sit position could be some way underground?

I have a virtual keyboard that is a holographic semi-transparent screen that circles my avatar when I type. I have never asked if this blocks my nametag so maybe an animation that blocks your typing?

*EDIT* Come to think of it, porbably not easily as this would help you get completely invisible, making it easy to eves-drop conversations and parties...

You can doit with an invisoprim. That kind of prims hides your body,hair,clothes and name bubble. But it dont look pretty good when the invisoprim is in front of some textures that has an alpha channel.

and while "technically" it's possible.. you'd need to walk around with a 30m mega-sized invisiprim sphere attached to your head. And at that point.. you're not so much invisible, as purely annoying to everyone around you.
