ok here it the deal i have figured out how to make something rezz something when touched or commanded (did that on my own using the Wiki). but now i want to figure out how to make a rail that rezzes from where you are in the air to the ground. it must stop at the ground and then llDie on a timer. my problem is i am not sure of the exacts on the scripting of the commands. such as how to make the second item that rezzes rezz at a different location (lower than the first) and do i include the land collision die commands in the orignal script. any help would be nice aside from " just go look in the wiki"

You might look at the builder's buddy script. You need to put some script in the rails as you cannot rez more than 10 M away. The components need to position thenselves on rez.

When you rez, you get to provide one parameter. That could be the listen channel for that rezzed prim to communicate with the rezzing prim to communicate where their position needs to be.

You mean sensor to sense how high above the ground you are? Just use llGround (<0,0,0>;) tor that.

I suppose you could set up an object inside an object inside an object so they keep rezzing until llGround is < 10, as the object you rez must already reside inside the rezzer. That is why I thought it might be simpler to rez from the first object.

You could also just ride the rail down to where you going. Just rez once and use a setPos mover till llGround < rail height.

Sounds like fun! Let me know how you get on!
