I'm seeing an odd behaviour that might be the result of some kind of email throttling. I have an object that has a controller script and 4 identical scripts that it kicks off at the same time. The 4 scripts do a bunch of work then send a biggish email (about 2500 characters) and a link message to the controller to say they're done. The controller then sends a final very short email. I usually get all five emails, but sometimes the 4th one arrives in my inbox several hours later. Why always the 4th and never the 3rd or 5th? The only thing I can think of is that there is a capacity limit and the server delays the 4th one because it would put me over quota, but the 5th is small so it sends it right away. Any ideas?

Um, no, sorry.
There are limits on the lengths (4096 out and 1000 in) but I've never seen anything like that, although I do occasionally get emails delayed for no obvious reason.
But it sounds like you're well within the limits on outbound emails. It might, especially if it's reproducible at all, be worth a bug report.
