Couldn't find a forum dedicated to sim management, happy to accept pointing in the right direction.

In my sim, got somebody running an Avatar online thing that consistently hogs a lot of script time. I'll return it to him, but I'm curious: in Region estate / debug tab / get top scripts, i see it there, have it highlighted, and click "disable scripts in selected" a zillion times. But damn if it don't just shoot up in the amount of ms time it uses. What gives?

Not sure why that's happening, but your best solution might be to ask the owner of the object find a different avatar online detector. The one they're using is probably calling the timer event with a really tight value like 0.1 or something. Realistically, one can check every 5 or 10 seconds and it's nearly as accurate. So what if the detector detects 4.5 seconds after the logon. So, maybe just suggest they get rid of the detector in favor of one less laggy.

Also, as a sim owner/manager or whatever your position might be, you might also just not even bother worrying about it unless there's an unusually high amount of lag in the sim. If the overall sim usage is fairly light, it doesn't really much matter if there's a piggy script or two running or not. I understand you desire to manage the sim properly, but unless it's an issue, it might be just as well to let it go.
