Help with rotation scripts ?

Perhaps someone here can be of some help here
I have a lot of rotating/spinning objects on my land
all of which are spinning faster than they should be.
I have managed to slow my built ones by resetting the scripts
but i am unable to reset scripted objects made by others.
I was told by a Linden employee to find the creators of the objects to get them to sort it...
I'm afraid i have quite a few and dont really want to go looking for creators to repair the objects
..... Linden Labs messed them up during one of their updates so i feel they should sort it out....
anyway if anyone has any ideas how i could sort them i would be most grateful

If you can't reset the script, you'll have to find the creators and ask them. The only other option is to hope they put a reset on rez. To find out, pick the item up and put it back out. If that doesn't work, then you will have to find the creator.
