Hello everyone! I am looking to purchase a rez vendor. I would like it to display my full furniture set (ie. a livingroom set) but this vendor should also allow my customers to be able to purchase a single item in the collection of objects while the livingroom set is displayed on the floor. Makes sense? I'd like to have the option to display my furniture sets at TEMP REZ or PERM REZ also as I will most likely want to have a PERM REZ sometime in the future but for now, I'll be using TEMP REZ only. I've contacted a few scripters and while they are working away on this, I am wondering if there is something that someone already has available. Me and the scripter have agreed that I could still look in the event that I could find something. I should mention that I've purchased such a vendor that didn't work for me. The creator couldn't figure out why it didn't work. So, I found a bug! Leave it to poor Shay to find a bug. I will not mention the vendor in here as I refuse to give bad publicity on such a great item that works for most people. So, any suggestions from anyone would greatly be appreciated. I hate wasting someone's time scripting this for me if I can buy it already available. HELP! lol Thanks in advance! Shaylene

I've not seen one exactly like that around, although that doesn't mean it's not there.
There are, if you want a temporary fix, vendor scripts on here and the scripting library forum that should do the job free.
I make, and sell, an easy to use and adjust holovendor (copiable and modifiable) for $50 with a modifiable display script - so you can choose temp or perm rez per object - although it's not really set up for precisely what you're after it is cheap enough to be an attractive stop gap.
Good luck with it!

Hi Eloise! Yes, there are actually such vendors out there. 1 that I bought that didn't manage to transfer my object files as the customer would attempt to buy an individual object. It would work, however, if the customer attempted to purchase the whole furniture set. The vendor was SUPPOSED to work with the individual objects as well but, for some reason, wouldn't work for me. The creator doesn't know why either. I'm his first customer that this has happened too. There's also another vendor that does the same thing. I'm still trying to get that from the creator. I hope that it will work for me as I REALLY want such a thing. If you can get in world and wanna check such a vendor, you can go to T&S Dezigns. That's what they use there. Ever since I saw those vendors, I've been wanting one just like that. If worst comes to worst and that I really cannot find what I REALLY want, I will need to explore other options. I've contacted a few scripters too. I got one looking into this for me but he, of couse, gave me permission to keep on looking. I just hate to have someone design the same thing if I can get it already, ya know? These things take time to design and code. Time that the scripter could use somewhere else, I'm sure. lol Shaylene

Funny, seems that everytime I finish a commissioned script project, I see someone else ask for the same script on the forums.
I've just created such a rezzer for displaying sets of unlinked furniture. It's a single prim, and can display a texture of each "room" that is currently rezzed (or a generic store logo). It's easy to operate, and you'll only need one copy of each furniture piece in the contents (though you can rez it in multiple sets and multiple times in a single set.)
In this version, your furniture pieces must be set to sell copies of themselves. If you'll be online around 10pm game-time, look me up and I'll show you how it works.
