Is there a good and simple LSL editor for me to edit and read LSL more easily?

Yes. Oddly, it is called LSL Editor

It is actually a small offline development environment, more than an editor.

And I do 90% of my development/testing in it.
It is worth its weight in Enriched Uranium, gold is too cheep to describe it

I prefer SciTe over LSLEditor for actual editing. I use LSLEditor to test the scripts after I've fed it through lslint.
