Folks,

I'm building a steam engine and I need to make an object moving along an axis back and forth. Is there a way to do this?

For example, a hydrolic pump... the metal rod would move back and forth inside another cylinder....

cheers

In theory, yes, there are several ways.

for example, something like

CODE
vector here=<1,2,3>;
vector there=<4,5,6>;

forever
llSetPos(here);
llSleep(1);
llSetPos(there);
llSleep(1);
