Do you mean like those HUD readers? You could do a very simple one with two prims side by side, each displaying a texture. Put all your textures into a list, and display the first two, one on each prim. On a touch to the right prim, march one space up the list and display the second and third textures, and so on. On a touch to the left, march down a step.

By playing with aspect ratios, you can actually do this with ONE prim (since HUD attachments aren't rendered with perspective), though it may not be worth the savings. Heh heh heh.
