I have a prim that uses a rotation script, which speed is determined by a remote.
When I link this prim to another prim, I end up with both prims rotating, but really only want one to rotate.
Any ideas?

if you place it in the main prim the whole thing will rotate, place it in a child prim and only that part will rotate

Now ive got a prim with 2 colors, and it blinks automatically between the two. anyway to make one of the colors "invisible" to give a "on / off " effect ?

Yeah, setting it to Alpha or using a texture changer to the clear/alpha texture would be your best way to make it go invisible.
And trust me, everyone here in scripting can make mention of a time they couldn't figure out something that has such a simple answer. I do it all the time. |
