Does anyone know how I can get my avatar to float above the ground at all times? I know you can fly but I want him to kind of hover there even when you have stop flying turned on. I know you can do it because I've seen it done. It's just I wouldn't know where to start.

Any help would be amazing! :)

Easiest way to do this would be to have an animation override that places you in a pose slightly above the ground, methinks. :)

Getting the anims for that, though, is another story.... others may have an answer to that --- Bueller? Bueller? :D

Does anyone have any ideas on where I could find or make these animation overrides?

Don't I need some different software to do that?

Psyra is right as usual. =) You can use the free avimator software developed just for SL: http://www.avimator.com/ The trick for floating is to increase the z-translation for the hips/pelvis bodypart. This way, the agent/collision box remains on the ground, but the mesh avatar floats up into the air.

Or an attachment with 'llMoveToTarget()' or maybe hover (not sure if hover works in attachments).
