I was using som stacked calls in a new toy, and using Set Aapha on a hidden side to force the viewer to update other small changes and noticed that occasionally the prim it was in would go to fullbright, at least until the next update.... anyone else seen this before?

Ive changed my code to eliminate the use of Set alpha, but wondered if anyone else had seen this? or if perhaps it was a peculiarty of the Nicholaz viewer?

I haven't noticed anything anomalous like that. Could be the 3rd party viewer, as you suspect, though.
