Is it possible for an object to record, manipulate, take action upon, etc. something said through SLVoice?

I don't think so, at least not with a normal SL viewer. I've not heard of any alternate viewers that could do that either, but I'm not that familiar with the extended capabilities of the third party viewers.

I would think recording voice without actually notifying someone they are being recorded is a huge violation. You can't legally record any conversation in RL without giving disclosure , except if you are the government. Damn the Patriot Act!
