FPS/Time dilation to throttle at?

Hello,

My gravity toys depend on rezzing temp-on-rez physical objects (or temporarily turning existing objects physical,) based on touch events. In an attempt to be reasonable, and to not get beaten up <grin> I was stopping all the physical stuff from executing if the sim FPS was less than 50.

Now, given the FPS of 45 or lower, described here:

How do I read the sim performance stats?

And bearing in mind we've still only got llGetRegionTimeDilation() and llGetRegionFPS(), does anyone have a recommendation for a responsible time dilation or FPS to throttle on?

Thanks,
Fairge and her zillion coloured balls

P.S. If the answer to this involves something not persisting over a state change, I will eat my own horns with chilli sauce! :D

Its probably going to be abit of a trial but given that the scripts will start to slow down anyway when the simfps drops below 45, you could probably try setting it to 30-35 as sometime you will get a dip when an agent enters a sim, just keep an eye and keep cheking the numbers and see how the numbers look
