I want to combine my ZHAO 2 HUD with a "smile script" so that I do not need a seperate attachment for smiling, but need a way to disable the smile effect when the AO is toggled off on the HUD.. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this, or a viable alternative.
Thanks

Take a look in the ZHAO interface script. It sends a link message with the string "ZHAO_AOON" or "ZHAO_AOOFF" to switch the state in the core script, you could just use that same message to switch your smiley thing.

actually, in the zhao2 notecard, it says that if you seperate the anim names with a comma instead of the | (what is that called anyways?) it will layer the animations. the sl built in animations will work, even though it'll give you a warning when loading the notecard saying that it's not in the inventory

You can do that, but it limits you to one 2-second expression for each animation change, just the nature of the beast. Especially with static poses, the timing of those smiles can look a little like gas pains.
